The goal of the Kindness Club at Corkscrew Elementary is to promote kindness by empowering students to lead by example and inspire positive change throughout our school community. Through acts of service, peer encouragement, and schoolwide initiatives, students will foster a culture of compassion, respect, and belonging, helping every student feel valued, supported, and connected.
Throughout the year, Kindness Club members lead a variety of schoolwide initiatives. Students welcome their peers with signs, smiles, and cheers during morning meetups, helping to create a positive start to the day. They spread joy by delivering inspirational messages to classrooms, create kindness rocks to display in our school garden, and organize a February Kindness Month challenge to encourage acts of kindness throughout the school.
In addition, club members participate in community service projects, including canned food and sock drives that support local families in need. Students also serve as role models for their peers by promoting kindness, respect, and empathy through their daily actions.
These activities provide students with meaningful leadership opportunities while helping to foster a welcoming, caring, and connected school culture where kindness is celebrated and practiced every day.
The Kindness Club at Corkscrew Elementary will benefit students by fostering a strong sense of connection, belonging, and community among their peers. Club members will gain valuable tools and experiences that empower them to spread kindness both within our school and beyond.
I am requesting $444.83 for supplies for the Corkscrew Elementary Kindness Club. This
includes purchasing T-shirts for each member to wear while spreading kindness around our
campus, painting rocks with inspirational messages to enhance our school garden, and
covering supplies needed for kindness challenges scheduled throughout the school year.
Shipping and taxes are included in the requested amount.
