The goal of this project is to create a safe, organized, and reliable system for charging, storing, and distributing classroom technology. Grant funds will provide extension cables, device chargers, and durable storage containers so that student devices and other instructional equipment remain accessible and ready for use. This project will reduce interruptions caused by missing chargers, depleted batteries, and disorganized supplies while helping students take responsibility for shared classroom resources.
Students will use the charging and storage system to keep classroom devices and accessories organized throughout the school day. Clearly labeled storage containers will provide designated locations for chargers, cables, adapters, and related equipment. Extension cables will allow devices to be charged in appropriate classroom locations when existing outlets are not conveniently accessible. Students will learn routines for checking out materials, returning them to the correct location, and safely handling technology accessories. These procedures will maximize instructional time and ensure that devices are prepared for digital lessons, research, assessments, and collaborative projects.
This project will benefit students by increasing dependable access to functioning, fully charged technology. An organized system will reduce lost or damaged accessories and eliminate delays caused by searching for chargers or waiting for devices to become available. It will also create a more orderly learning environment and teach students responsibility, organization, and respect for shared materials. With devices consistently ready for use, all students—including those who may not have access to replacement chargers or charging equipment at home—will be able to participate fully in technology-supported instruction.
Grant funds will be used to purchase classroom-appropriate extension cables, compatible device chargers and charging cables, and durable storage containers. The extension cables will improve access to available electrical outlets, while replacement chargers will ensure that classroom devices remain operational. Storage containers will protect the equipment, reduce tangling and damage, and make accessories easier to distribute and inventory. All requested materials will directly support the safe organization and continued use of instructional technology, providing a practical long-term benefit for students across multiple classes and school years.
