The goal of this project is to motivate students to earn industry certifications and recognize them for their hard work. Students will spend class time throughout the school year learning, studying, and preparing for certification exams in areas such as Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Health Sciences, Engineering, Criminal Justice/911 Dispatch, Adobe, and Accounting.
Students will earn points for each certification they pass and can use their points to redeem Lely-themed rewards such as engraved keychains, phone card holders, and water bottles.
Throughout the school year, students will dedicate class time to learning the content and developing the skills needed to successfully complete multiple industry certification exams. Teachers will provide instruction, practice, review, and opportunities for students to prepare for certifications in areas such as Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Health Sciences, Engineering, Criminal Justice/911 Dispatch, Adobe, Aviation, and Accounting. Students will be encouraged to pursue multiple certifications, allowing them to build a collection of industry-recognized credentials and strengthen their college and career readiness.
To recognize students for their hard work and achievement, students who successfully earn industry certifications will receive points based on the number of certifications they complete. Students can redeem their points for Lely-themed rewards, including customized lanyards, engraved card holders, and water bottles.
The Digital Design class will support the project by using an engraver to personalize the rewards. Students will spend class time designing, programming, and producing the engraved items, providing an authentic opportunity to apply their digital design and technology skills to a real-world project.
This project will create a positive cycle of learning and achievement. Students will be motivated to use their class time throughout the year to prepare for and earn multiple certifications, while Digital Design students gain hands-on experience producing meaningful products for their peers. By celebrating certification success, the project will encourage students to continue pursuing credentials and developing the skills needed for future careers.

Grant funds will be used to purchase blank, reusable reward items—including custom lanyards, Magsafe wallet, and water bottles—the materials needed to personalize these items using an engraving machine. The engraved items will serve as incentives for students who successfully earn industry certifications throughout the school year.
