Building Financial Futures Through Interactive Learning

The purpose of this project is to provide engaging, interactive financial literacy instruction through a Nearpod school subscription integrated with the Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF) curriculum. Nearpod will allow students to actively participate in lessons that teach essential life skills such as budgeting, saving, banking, investing, credit management, consumer awareness, and financial decision-making.

Nearpod provides multiple ways for students to access and demonstrate learning, making instruction more inclusive and engaging for diverse learners. Interactive lessons help maintain student attention while providing immediate feedback. Students who may struggle with traditional instruction benefit from the visual, collaborative, and hands-on learning opportunities built into the platform.

Success will be measured through increased student participation, improved assessment performance, completion of financial literacy projects, and student reflections demonstrating understanding of key concepts. Nearpod's reporting tools will provide data on student engagement and mastery of learning objectives.

Funding will be used to purchase a Nearpod subscription that enhances the delivery of financial literacy instruction through interactive, standards-aligned lessons. The platform provides tools that increase student engagement, offer immediate feedback, support differentiated instruction, and allow students to actively participate in learning. The subscription directly supports project goals by transforming financial literacy concepts into engaging, real-world learning experiences that improve student understanding and retention.
