Additional Details

The purpose of this grant is to fund a student reward program that recognizes and celebrates the academic, behavioral, social, and personal achievements of Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students. Funding will be used to purchase incentives and rewards that motivate students to meet individualized educational goals, demonstrate positive behaviors, and celebrate personal growth throughout the school year.
ESE students often face academic, behavioral, emotional, and social challenges that require additional support and encouragement. Positive reinforcement helps build self-esteem, increases motivation, strengthens positive behaviors, and creates a supportive learning environment where students feel valued and capable. Current classroom budgets do not provide adequate funding for a comprehensive incentive program.
Increase student motivation and engagement; encourage positive behavior and social-emotional growth; support progress toward IEP goals; improve self-confidence and self-advocacy; foster a positive and inclusive school culture; celebrate student achievement.
Students will earn recognition for academic growth, achievement of IEP goals, positive behavior, improved attendance, perseverance, kindness, and participation. Monthly and quarterly celebrations will acknowledge student progress and accomplishments.
