I would like my students to learn their letters names and sounds. I would also like students to be able to identify their numbers and gain number sense.
Students will be provided with manipulatives and learning tools to learn their letter names and sounds, as well as building number sense. Students will receive small group instruction to help them use these tools to their full potential.
Students with disabilities receive small group instruction in my classroom. These hands on materials will benefit tactile learners, who need hands on learning.
Students with disabilities require unique approaches to learning. These activities will allow my classroom to have more opportunities for students to learn through play, which is necessary for young learners.
