From Data to Action: Driving Instruction with Purpose

The goal of this grant is to secure stable funding for a GradeCam subscription through the end of the 2026–27 school year. Our current subscription will expire in December 2026, and continued access will ensure teachers can efficiently assess student learning, analyze data, and use results to drive instruction.

A school-wide GradeCam subscription benefits all 2nd–5th grade students by providing teachers with an essential tool for using student data to make informed instructional decisions. Teachers use GradeCam across subject areas to monitor student progress, identify areas of need, and provide targeted interventions based on data that is collected and analyzed. Parkside has maintained a school-wide GradeCam subscription since August 2018. The subscription was initially funded through grant funding and, for the past two years, through Title I. Due to a decrease in Title I funding, we are unable to renew the subscription this year without additional financial support. Securing grant funding will allow Parkside to continue using this valuable resource to support data-driven instruction and improve student outcomes.

Students benefit from a GradeCam subscription because the data collected and analyzed helps teachers plan more effective lessons, identify learning gaps, and create targeted activities that address individual student needs. GradeCam also streamlines the grading of assignments and assessments, allowing teachers to spend less time on grading and more time using data to plan meaningful instruction and provide timely support to students.

All funding will be used to purchase a school-wide subscription to GradeCam for the rest of the 26-27 school year.
