The goal of this project is to create a positive, engaging classroom environment that recognizes and reinforces students' positive behavior, active participation, and commitment to learning. Students earn raffle tickets throughout the week by demonstrating respectful behavior, volunteering to answer questions, participating in classroom discussions, completing assignments, and showing kindness and responsibility.
Each Friday, students use their earned raffle tickets to participate in a prize drawing. Small incentives, such as individually packaged snacks (including hot chips, candy, or other age-appropriate treats), serve as rewards that motivate students to remain engaged and consistently make positive choices.
This incentive-based program is designed to increase classroom participation, improve student behavior, strengthen attendance and engagement, and foster a positive classroom culture where students feel recognized and encouraged for their efforts. Grant funding will be used to purchase raffle prizes and supplies needed to sustain the weekly recognition program throughout the school year.
Throughout the school year, students will have opportunities to earn raffle tickets by demonstrating positive behavior, actively participating in class discussions, volunteering to answer questions, completing assignments, showing respect toward peers and staff, and exhibiting responsibility both academically and socially.
Teachers will consistently recognize and reward these positive actions by distributing raffle tickets during classroom instruction and daily activities. At the end of each week, students will enter their earned tickets into a classroom raffle for a chance to win small incentive prizes, such as individually packaged snacks and other low-cost rewards.
This program encourages students to stay engaged, participate confidently, make positive choices, and contribute to a supportive classroom community. By recognizing and celebrating positive behaviors on a regular basis, the project helps build student motivation, improve classroom climate, and reinforce habits that support academic and personal success.
This grant will provide students with meaningful incentives that encourage positive behavior, active classroom participation, and consistent engagement in learning. By recognizing students for making responsible choices, volunteering to answer questions, completing assignments, and demonstrating respect, the program helps create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
The weekly raffle system motivates students to stay focused, improve attendance and participation, and develop habits that contribute to academic success. Celebrating positive behaviors also helps build students' confidence, strengthens relationships between students and teachers, and promotes a classroom culture where effort and good citizenship are valued.
Grant funding will ensure that the incentive program can be implemented consistently throughout the school year, allowing all students to have regular opportunities to be recognized and rewarded for their positive contributions to the classroom community.
Grant funds will be used to purchase low-cost incentives and supplies that support a weekly classroom recognition program. Items may include individually packaged snacks (such as chips and candy), small prizes, raffle tickets, storage containers, and other materials needed to implement the program throughout the school year.
The purpose of this funding is to sustain a positive behavior incentive program that recognizes students for demonstrating respectful behavior, active classroom participation, responsibility, academic effort, and positive citizenship. The incentives serve as a motivational tool that encourages students to make positive choices, remain engaged in learning, and contribute to a supportive classroom environment.
By providing consistent recognition and rewards, the program helps improve student engagement, reinforce positive behaviors, and foster a classroom culture that supports academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
