Classroom set of ukuleles that will be an important part of the music curriculum taught at Golden Gate Elementary.
The students will be taught the skills necessary to perform songs on the ukulele.
Students will learn new skills that will impact their leaning skills in a positive manner.
It is a proven fact that leaning to play an instrument improves brain function and greatly improves reading,
and motor skills. Performing as a class, and or as a performing group for public concerts, will build individual confidence, as well as school pride.
The classroom set of ukuleles at HCE school has been a great benefit to many students.
The purpose of the funding is to bring the same positive results to Golden Gate Elementary.
