To enhance engineering instruction through hands-on design challenges that allow students to apply the Engineering Design Process while solving authentic engineering problems.
Students will complete a series of engineering design challenges focused on structural engineering, mechanical systems, renewable energy, manufacturing, and transportation. Working in collaborative teams, students will research, design, prototype, test, evaluate, and redesign engineering solutions using industry practices.
Students develop critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and technical communication skills while applying math and science concepts in authentic engineering scenarios.
