Additional Details

The goal of this project is to create a more flexible and inclusive learning environment by providing floor rocker chairs for my classroom. Flexible seating gives students the opportunity to choose a workspace that best supports their individual learning needs, allowing them to stay engaged, focused, and comfortable during instruction. These chairs will especially benefit students who need movement or prefer sitting closer to the board while also promoting student choice, independence, and a positive classroom environment where all learners have the opportunity to succeed.
Students will use the floor rocker chairs during whole-group lessons, small-group instruction, independent work, and collaborative learning activities. They will have the opportunity to choose seating that best supports their focus and learning style, helping them remain engaged and actively participate in classroom instruction. By providing flexible seating options, students will build independence, make responsible choices, and learn in an environment that supports their individual needs while promoting comfort, collaboration, and academic success.
