Additional Details

The goal of this project is to provide every fifth-grade student with a privacy shield to create a focused, distraction-free learning environment that supports independent work, assessments, and daily classroom activities. Privacy shields will help students maintain concentration, protect the confidentiality of their work, and reduce visual distractions during times when individual thinking is essential.
Students will use the privacy shields throughout the school day during a variety of independent learning activities. The shields will provide each student with a personal workspace that helps minimize distractions and encourages focused, self-directed learning. Students will use the privacy shields to: complete quizzes, tests, classroom assessments and assignments without distractions and with privacy. They will also be able to practice test-taking strategies that prepare them for district and state assessments.
Privacy shields provide students with a dedicated workspace that promotes focus, independence, and academic integrity. They also can help to create a safe environment where students feel comfortable taking academic risks. The shields can help to foster self-reliance, which in turns helps to sharpen their critical thinking skills. They are a simple yet effective classroom resource that supports learning across all subject areas.
I am requesting $37.00 to purchase 30 privacy shields. This will ensure that each student in the class will be able to have a privacy shield. Those shields, in addition with shields I already own, will be able to service 76+ students.
